10th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Festival in 2020 hosted by City of Hanover looked a little different due to Covid-19 but event still took place as a drive thru for picking up decorations and then decorating the pumpkin at home.

Creative goblins wanted! After all, there’s no better combination than little goblins and pumpkins.

We hope to see you October 2021 for this event (now hosted by the City of Hanover's Park Board) at Settlers Park Shelter (behind City Hall).

Bring your costumed children/grandchildren and spend the afternoon at the Annual Pumpkin Decorating Festival. You can find the event at the Settler’s Park Shelter behind City Hall in Hanover with free pumpkins and craft supplies.

Age categories for the pumpkin decorating competition are: Preschool; 6-8 years; and 9 years and older, with prizes awarded in each category.

The kids’ costume contest prizes are for the same categories. Judging begins promptly at the designated time and you must be present to win.

Whether you come in costume or not, don’t miss out on a fall afternoon of pumpkin decorating fun! Event goes on rain or shine.  Check the City of Hanover's Facebook page for more information on this fun fall event.

This free event is sponsored by the Hanover Park Board since 2020.  It had been previously hosted by the Hanover Historical Society 2010-2019.
