Pumpkin Decorating Event

Fourth Annual Pumpkin Decorating Festival in October 2015 was a great success and Fun was had by all!

Creative goblins wanted! Afterall, there’s no better combination than little goblins and pumpkins.

Join us again in October of 2016 for this event - Settlers Park Shelter (behind City Hall).

Bring your costumed children/grandchildren and spend the afternoon at the Hanover Historical Society’s 5th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Festival on Sat., Oct. 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. We’ll be waiting for you at the Settler’s Park Shelter behind City Hall in Hanover with free pumpkins and craft supplies.

Age categories for the pumpkin decorating competition are: Preschool; 6-8 years; and 9 years and older, with prizes awarded in each category.

The kids’ costume contest prizes are for the same categories. Judging begins promptly at 4 p.m., and you must be present to win.

Snap keepsake photos with Kosh Kosh, the potbelly pig, and Rowdy the Scarecrow, then get in on a fun game of Needle in the Haystack!

Free cookies and orange drink for all.

Whether you come in costume or not, don’t miss out on a fall afternoon of pumpkin decorating fun! Event goes on rain or shine.
